American Long Bow
This bow at 48” at first sight makes you think it’s a kids bow. Mine is 40# @ 28”. Being small there was for me a learning curve. But I have put around 7000 arrows through it and it just gets better every day. But there is a learning curve. It shoot fast and flat for a traditional style bow. 30 yds is the max that I shoot it. But after 40+ years of shooting I think for me that’s far enough. Good bow worth the money. Not too end but fund to shoot and can be a rack driver.

I previously bought a Tatar bow from AF and it’s a very nice bow. I took a chance on this bow for my wife as a 35 pounder and I was surprised how quick and accurate it was. It has a punch. The bow is not a 62” inch, I think the description is an error, but it’s no problem for person with a 26-28 inch draw and the size makes it well suited for blind hunting. You’d have to have draw length well beyond 29 inches to feel any stacking. The wood is nice and has a matt finish. A close inspection may yield ever so slight imperfections in the one I received (really got to look hard) but you can’t beat the value at the price. I’m pleased with the bow. If you are new or making a switch to a longbow I’d recommend you consider it. I may even get a 50 pounder for me. I’d note the bow unstrung has reflex/deflex which places it into the hybrid longbow category. Over all I’ve been pleased with AF archery bows. I would note the string I got the serving was short and the direction was toward the lower smaller loop so I had to flip it around to get enough serving to nock the string. I will end up replacing the string, the bow have reinforced tips and can support fast flight strings. It’s a good value in the longbow category.

I've shot traditional bows now for over 60 years, recurves and longbows. Tried compounds once, didn't like it. This bow is one of the better values for your money I've ever seen. I got it in a 45 lb. weight since as I have aged I can't comfortably shoot the 64 lb. longbow I'd been using for almost 30 years now.
This bow is smooth and well-made. I'm more used to a traditional longbow-style handle but this one is fine, I have not had to modify it at all. It is as light as any longbow I've ever shot, and I've shot one made by Howard Hill's protege John Schulz. I have a beautiful Zebra Nighthawk that cost hundreds more and that's about the same physical weight and the light weight just makes bows a joy to shoot. It's the equal of any bow I've seen that they now charge hundreds of dollars more for.
It is as accurate and smooth-shooting as just about any bow I've ever shot. I'd buy this bow again in a heartbeat!

It is beautiful to look at - well crafted. It is well balanced and comfortable to hold. Because of the aggressive recurve, it has remarkable power for such a simple and elegant bow. It was well worth the money!

Great customer service, received a faulty bow butt the owners of the company were quick to make an effort to fix that and send me a replacement even though there was some communication errors on my part not on the company owners. The bow itself is a fantastic bow that shoots very fast and gets good penetration on animals. Compared to many other recurves like my bear Kodiak and even some of my black widows does bow is superior if learn how to shoot correctly. Compared to many other recurves like my bear Kodiak and even some of my black widows does bow is superior if learn how to shoot correctly. Trying to shoot his bow as if it were European Longbow or traditional American recurve is like buying a Ferrari and only using it in first gear. If you want to see speeds of around 190 ft./s you must shoot with a thumb draw and practice khatra. for a hunting situation The superior performance of this boat allows me to feel comfortable shooting at distance is commonly used for compounds such as 40 to 50 yards and getting complete pass throughs on large 250+ pound pigs
Will love
This is an excellent little bow. It's fast and quiet. If you want one a little cheaper, check out the AF Tatar bow. These two are the best bows you'll ever buy for the money. I think this one, the Horse Bow, might be a touch faster and a little shorter. Bow are great bows. Both are quiet.

FAQ
In the blink of an eye, we have been making traditional bows and arrows for more than ten years.
Thank you for the support and attention from friends all over the world. We will continue to work hard to live up to your love.
For many years, we have been studying the techniques of making traditional bows and arrows. We have overcome many problems and learned a lot from historical objects. As an important weapon for ancient people, the bow and arrow have been repeatedly verified and optimized by countless ancestors. Different regions, different people, and different means of use have created different types of bows and arrows around the world. Of course, in ancient times, most Asian bows and arrows were sinew and horn bows. But in modern times the lack of value of the material is expensive and not suitable for modern times on a large scale. The combination of fiberglass and wood is by far the best material for making bows and arrows. Fiberglass provides elasticity instead of sinew and horn, and wood acts as a core layer to reduce the overall density and make it rebound faster. This is what makes up a modern laminated bow. The materials are different but the principle is the same as thesinew and horn bow. The combination of several materials, different shapes, different lengths, and completely different experiences of use, and at the same time different aesthetics. Whenever I design a piece that I am satisfied with, I will play with it for a long time, the beautiful lines alone are enough to attract me. Perhaps the love of the bow and arrow is already engraved in human genes.
The traditional work we make puts beauty first, and most of the designs we make reference to historical objects. When a bow is beautiful enough, it will excel in all other aspects of its use. Each bow is optimized many times to come up with the best final work to present. If you have any problems during the use, you can contact us at any time, every email, we will reply as soon as possible, and you are also welcome to give us valuable comments and suggestions.
Finally, we wish you all a happy life and good health. We also hope that the bows and arrows.

For beginners, we recommend a draw weight of 25 to 30 pounds for men and 20 to 25 pounds for women. When not in use, it's advisable to keep the bow in a relaxed state, ideally stored in a dry environment. Ensure that arrows are not excessively lightweight and stay within the safe draw length.
For post-sales support related to bows, please reach out to us if your bow is damaged within 180 days, provided the damage is non-human-induced and occurs within the maximum safe draw length. We are committed to addressing and resolving such issues to the best of our ability.
